Genevieve Zletni
Education: Graduated from the University of Toronto - Major in Commerce and Computer Science
Employment: Ever since graduation, I have worked at the City of Toronto for the past 24 years, mostly in Human Resources (HR) and for a short time in the Information Technology (IT) area. I have held a number of positions in a number of areas within both HR and IT.
Currently, I work in Strategic Human Resources and am a Senior HR Consultant and Team Lead of the Workforce Reporting Team.
Public Speaking Background:
- joined Royal Class Toastmasters, a World Wide Public Speaking Organization in 1996. I have been a member for 15 years
- held various Executive positions within my club such as President, Vice President of Education in my first year with the club, Vice President of Membership, Vice President of Public Relations and Treasurer
- won club, and area - which is best of about 5 clubs -, and division - which is best of about 25-30 clubs-, Evaluation Contests and moved on to compete at the District Level which is best of over 100 clubs
- won club and area, table topics and humorous speech contests
- completed my Competent Toastmaster certification with the formal delivery and evaluation of 10 speeches
- completed my Competent Leader certification
- completed my Able Toastmaster Bronze and Silver certification each requiring the formal delivery and evaluation of 10 speeches and 2 defined workshops
- Currently working on ATM-Gold designation, completed the 10 formal speeches with evaluation and have 1 workshop left to deliver
- have been a Key Note Speaker and workshop leader for the Special Olympics International athlete conference for their athletes involved in public speaking, during my year as President of my club
- co-conducted Public Speaking Workshops for Summer Interns at the Royal Bank of Canada, IT Building, for a couple of years

Ted Lyberogiannis
An Engineer who currently works for Hydro One Networks where he manages maintenance programs for Transmission and Distribution stations. He has recently completed his Masters Degree in Power Systems at the University of Waterloo. He is currently the President of Trinity Toastmasters - a lunchtime Toastmasters club that meets every Thursday downtown. Last year, he became one of the youngest Champions of District 60's International Speech Contest where he delivered a speech about his Father. His victory earned him a spot at the International Convention in Palm Desert, California, where he competed last August against 80 other District Champions from around the world for the title of "World Champion of Public Speaking". He plays the saxophone, and in his spare time, Ted enjoys travelling and watching sports. Please help me welcome Ted as he delivers his talk: "No such thing as performance enhancing drugs".
George Balana
With over 20 years of IT experience mainly on large scale projects, in both North America (Canada) and Europe, George has been acting as an IT technical and management consultant with lead financial institutions for the past 14 years. "Supporting PMI community, on-line or in person, is an amazing opportunity to give others your best and learn in the same time from the best."
George is a strong believer that "what you say" is just as important as "how you say it". As a Toastmasters member and currently Public Relations Officer for District 60, he is a perpetual student for better practices, and uses his acquired experience as a public speaker, and instructor in project management and leadership courses.
George joined the PMI family as a member in 2005, and obtained leadership roles in a series of PMI-SOC initiated events, like: Mentorship Program, PMI-GTISLIG Situational Coaching Program (SCP), editor and article writer for GTISLIG bi-monthly electronic Newsletter, PMI-SOC Focus Groups, PMI-SOC Speakers Register and PMI-SOC Senior Project Practitioners initiatives, LinkedIn promoter and contributor for project management best practices. Published author in 2010, George initiated "Xcelerate Your PMP Exam" series.
