Chinese Project Management Professionals (CPMP) Association of Canada is an Ontario registered not-for-profit organization run by volunteer Board of Directors and volunteer members. CPMP dedicates to nurture Chinese project management practitioners living in Canada, to integrate our competencies and value ourselves in project management world.
Many Chinese professionals have discovered that project management skills are necessary in career advancing and transition from a technical position to a managerial position. In fact, many Canadian employers have realized that it is often challenging to find a technical SME (subject matter expert) with experiences on practicing all project management processes and the people management skills.
CPMP has provided a learning platform where seminars/workshops have been conducted every month or two, since inception. The subjects of these seminars spanned all nine knowledge areas and five process groups defined in Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) by PMI. It has greatly helped the practitioners who have just ventured into project management world, as well as those who are more experienced in this field. CPMP has committed and will continue to devote its passions, energies, and resources to network with colleges, corporations, and various professional associations, to deliver volunteer projects for the communities, to bridge China-Canada project management joint ventures, and more.
The legend has just begun...
